Hand-Held Solar Powered Hovercraft

Is the sun at the wrong angle? Is it late in the day? No problem! Detach your solar panel from your hovercraft and point it towards the sun. This makes solar powered model hovercrafting possible year-round! The set-up shown above was used very successfully during January in Chicago*. Walking along with a solar panel and keeping it pointed properly while also controlling a hovercraft may look a bit odd, but it is fun! This set up can also be used for attention-getting stationary displays and presentations.

(*) For those who live in the Southern Hemisphere: January in Chicago is just like June in Tasmania... ...except for certain superficial differences.
